Stunting is a public health problem characterized by impaired linear growth due to chronic nutritional deficiency and recurrent infection. Children aged 6-24 months are particularly vulnerable because this period falls within the first 1,000 days of life and is marked by rapid growth. Macro- and micronutrients, including energy, protein, iron, zinc, and vitamins, play essential roles in growth and immune function. This study aimed to analyze the association between nutrient intake and stunting among children aged 6-24 months based on published studies. A narrative literature review was conducted using articles identified through Google Scholar, Portal Garuda, SINTA, and national or international scientific journals published from 2017 to 2026. Ten articles met the inclusion criteria. The review showed that inadequate energy, protein, iron, and zinc intake, inappropriate complementary feeding, and lack of exclusive breastfeeding were associated with stunting among children aged 6-24 months. In conclusion, adequate nutrient intake during this age period is essential for stunting prevention. Nutrition interventions should strengthen the quality of complementary feeding, exclusive breastfeeding practices, and adequate macro- and micronutrient intake.
